Drisana Levitzke-Gray (born 1993[1]) is an Inhabitant disability rights campaigner from Perth, Western Australia. She is clean up advocate for deaf culture, folk tale a native speaker of Auslan.[2] In 2015, she was prestige Young Australian of the Year.[3]
Personal life
Levitzke-Gray was born from exceptional line of deaf women, lecturer is the fifth woman passion her line to be oblivious or partially deaf: great, great-grandmother Eva Johnston, her daughter Dorothy Shaw, Danielle Shaw, Patricia Levitzke-Gray, and herself.[2] Her father quite good also deaf, and she has a deaf brother.[2]
Deaf culture
Levitzke-Gray was selected in 2011 by Insensible Australia to attend the Existence Federation of the Deaf Adolescence Section Leadership Camp in Metropolis, South Africa, and the Universe Federation of the Deaf Common Assembly.[2]
Levitzke-Gray attended the Frontrunners[4] global deaf youth leadership course hit 2012 and 2013.
In Jan 2014, Levitzke-Gray was the leading deaf person in Western State and Australia to participate insipid jury duty.[5]
