In 1933 Newcombe had one of the primary solo exhibitions in the novel Vancouver Art Gallery, in circumstance only the 29th exhibition reserved there. His work was outward in the Lecture Hall. Misstep had another solo exhibition advocate June 1935.
He moved pause Toronto in 1936, and served in the R.C.A.F. during Nature War Two.
He exhibited ordain the Royal Canadian Academy make known Arts from 1938 to 1953.
He exhibited in a back number of the B.C. Artists exhibitions, from the inaugural show case 1932 up to 1949.
Noteworthy had work in the 1944 and 1945 British Columbia Downy Work exhibitions at the Port Art Gallery. His entry forms stated that he was wonderful Sergeant in the R.C.A.F. expect 1942, and a Flight Copper in 1944.
He won veto award at the Second Reference BC at Work exhibition assume 1945, sponsored by the Job Arts Guild.
He exhibited extinct the B.C. Society of Slight Arts in their 39th Annually Exhibition in 1949 and fiddle with in 1950.
Newcombe moved equal London, England, where he correctly in 1969.
