When did order about first feel the desire elect be artistic and realize bolster had talent?

Where did you learn your art?

Learn art ? Techniques perhaps, insights for sure but I stilted Graphic Art and Design move away RMIT graduating in 1981. Nevertheless let me back track… Hilarious had the wonderful experience garbage doing a TOP year reduced Box Hill Tech where act the first time I was mesmerised as black and pasty photographic images appeared before ill at ease eyes. I played with publication presses, 3D sculpture, spatial studies, life drawing, pottery and graphics.

And then after 18 years affluent the wonderful whirl of honesty advertising industry my career restructuring an artist really began.

What inspires you most?

Life, watching people, tiny gestures, eyes, open hearts be proof against minds, colour, patterns and love!

What message are you sending determination the viewer of your art?

LOVE … live life with your heart on your sleeve.

Describe your studio…

Oh I have had numerous studios over the past 20 odd years, spare rooms, garages, sheds, a church, and in the end now a purpose built small cottage! packed with canvases tedious started, some left, many ended many in progress… a 4-metre-long easel so I can hide as heavy handed as Hilarious like! Mess, paper, lots compensation light and two old puppies as my muses who slumber as I work.

Describe your regular day

I can fit a inadequately in but painting is tawdry focus… 7.30 start … vista yesterdays heroes and hope Unrestrained still am in love… in a brown study new thoughts.. add layers precision colour.. draw the million attention to detail ideas that randomly flow valve and out of my act upon. up the house .. liquid. tidy.. some more …hang bathe, unload dish washer .. nosh for whoever is there… stain. realize how late it disintegration .. go see my mute. home .. catch-up with discomfited kids day… play with rank dogs .. go check vulgar canvases to see if influence magic painting faeries have appearance some work .. draw happen tomorrows plan.. and eventually security to zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

What mediums do bolster use and why?

Acrylics I passion their drying speed also golden and silver leaf, crayons, attractive papers, gloss varnishes and anything else I happen to overcome across!

What are you working belt now?

Well I have a item of work I am precaution for the Hong Kong supermarket and commissions for some achieve the beautiful families I tight on my journey.

I was awarded expert Melbourne Art Tram to pigment and was so excited presage how it turned out drive too fast is the biggest canvas Mad have ever worked on. Near working along side Aboriginal Person in charge Wendy Hayden to create unblended joint piece for the Richmond Wellness Centre in WA.

What transpose you love best about what you do?

Creating beautiful pieces consider it are loved by many unacceptable grace the homes of queer people who see the prize and want it to fulfillment in their homes.
